Q: What time is check in? 

A: Check in time starts at 3:30pm. If you would like to arrive earlier, please message or give a call prior to your arrival! Early check in has a fee of $15. 

Q: What time is check out? 

A: Check out is at 10:30am. There is a late check out option upon availability and request only. This extends your check out to 12:00pm and is a $25 fee. 

Q: Do you allow pets? 

A: We do not allow pets on our property. We only allow service animals under the ADA Guidelines. Emotional Support Animals are not allowed. 

Q: What is your cancellation policy? 

A:

OCTOBER 1st - MAY 15th CANCELLATION POLICY

• Cancellation of, and/or amendments to your reservation must be made 72 hours prior to your arrival date.

• Cancellation or amendment made within 72 hours of arrival will be subject to a cancellation fee equal to 100% of the total amount of the reservation.

MAY 15th - SEPTEMBER 30th SUMMER CANCELLATION POLICY

• For reservations from June 1 through September 30

• Cancellation of, and/or amendments to your reservation must be made 14 days prior to your arrival date. If cancellation and/or amendments are made within 14 days of your reservation, the 50% deposit is non-refundable.

• Cancellation or amendment made within 72 hours of arrival will incur a cancellation fee equal to 100% of the entire reservation amount.

Q: What taxes and fees are on top of the room rate? 

A: McCall stays are taxed 15% due to Idaho Sales Tax (6%), Idaho Travel and Lodging Tax (2%), McCall Occupancy Tax (6%), McCall Non-Sales Tax (1%). A 1% Credit Card Processing fee is also applied to all reservations. 

Q: Do you have a hot tub? 

A: Yes, we have an exterior hot tub that seats up to 7! It is open all year round. We also just opened our SAUNA! 

Q: How fast is your wifi? 

A: The Manager’s husband is a software engineer and works on the same wifi, so it is great! 

Q: How far are you from the lake?

A: Either a 1 minute drive or about an 8-10 min walk! 

Q: Do you do room blocks or group bookings? 

A: Please email contact@thescandiainn.com if you are interested in booking 4 or more rooms! (Note: For bookings of 4 or more rooms, the 50% deposit required upon booking is nonrefundable.)

Q: Do you have enough parking to accommodate my boat or snowmobile trailer? 

A: Yes, we do! If your party has more than one trailer though, please let the office know at contact@thescandiainn.com or in the comments section during your booking. 

Q: Do the rooms have a mini fridge?  

A: Sure do! All room types have a mini fridge in them. 


Q: Do you have a military discount?  

A: All military/veterans and first responders get a 5% discount! 


Q: Do you have gift cards? 

A: Yes, you can purchase a gift cards HERE!


Q: Do any of your rooms have tubs?

A: Yes, our King Suite is the ONLY room with a tub!

Q: Where do you recommend we book in town if you are all full the time we want? 

A: You can book our sister hotel across the street, The Nordic Inn! Their website is nordicinnmccall.com 

Q: Do I have to download the app to check in?

A: No, you can come to the office and we will provide a physical key card for you to use if you prefer. 

Q: Do you serve breakfast?

A: Yes, we have a small breakfast in our lounge that consists of muffins, doughnuts, fruit, and a coffee bar.

Q: What other amenities do you have?

A: We have fire pits, smores, kayaks, bikes, snowshoes, picnic tables and barbecues, all complimentary!

Q: Do you have a restaurant on site?

A: We don’t, but we can give you a list of all of our favorites! We are within walking distance to a lot of our favs!
